Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive client intake and assessments to identify disaster-related needs

  • Developing individualized recovery plans in collaboration with clients

  • Coordinating resources and services, including housing, financial assistance, and mental health support

  • Maintaining detailed case notes and documentation in compliance with program guidelines

  • Advocating on behalf of clients with service providers and community organizations

  • Monitoring client progress and providing ongoing support to achieve recovery goals

  • Participating in community outreach and education activities as needed

  • Adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Emergency Management, Psychology, or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in case management, social services, or disaster recovery

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal disaster recovery programs, including FEMA and CDBG-DR, is a plus

Qualifications
